The new suicide army

Kamikaze.
A term that evokes emotions based on wars and events that have since passed. What once referred to a person willing to give their life to take another has now shaped into the skill, the art form, and the person that is devoted to giving the world the utmost impecappable piece of engineering beauty that ones eyes has ever met.

Upon my searches for the most flawless foundation of the building of another BSA, I was lead to stumble across the most magnificent of all bombers. Not one that spends it's time waiting for the opportune moment to hurl itself onto the deck of an air craft carrier, but one that has more important business to conduct, like bombing the asphalt laden roads of the Land of the Rising Sun. Here's some of what can't be bought out of a catalog...

Here is what I've been privileged enough to catch a glimpse of. A nickel plated, polished aluminum, black painted steel, Japanese built bobber...

Built by Kamikaze chop shop in Japan, this has altered the way I look at bikes, again. Based on what I believe is a 1953 BSA A7 Star Twin, 500cc OHV Brit, It has drawn my concentration and imagination to possibilities that I knew existed, but had somehow forgotten about.

The daze of old refer to the A7 as being one of the tougher Beezer's being built after WWII. Rolling up to 75mph was a smooth accomplishment, but everything there after was a memorable and unforgiving ride. Thank fuck for that, because God and Satan both know full well that it's not where your going, but the story of how your getting there is of the utmost importance.

In the beginning...

Although the original, un-molested, A7 could have been purchased out of a catalog, "Plate Armor" as it's known, can't be. Take another look and give some attention to the detail, time, effort and energy that has made this suicide machine a rideable reality.
